December 7th, The Suppressed 80 Minute Version (DVD)

Produced...and then suppressed by the U.S. government, December 7th reenacts Japan�s attack on Pearl Harbor, sending the U.S. into WWII. Believing that the film portrayed the Navy as to complacent before the raid, the government withheld this full length feature film for nearly 50 years. (A shorter 34 minute version won an Academy Award in 1942.) The film features Walter Huston, and was directed by John Ford.
